Our first trip with Bergan travel was September, 2009 and it was an amazing experience. It consisted of a flight to Italy with a three-day tour of Rome and Florence. This was followed by a seven-day eastern Mediterranean cruise to Sicily, Greece, Turkey, Crete, and back to Rome. We had a private tour in luxury coaches with excellent English speaking guides at each port. The planning and communication before, during, and follow up of the trip and tours were exceptional. Al and Eileen are very professional, gracious, and caring hosts. They made each member of the group feel at ease. We really enjoy traveling with Bergan Travel. We don't have to look at a map, we just ride along. We don't have to carry our own luggage - it is delivered to our room (which is already reserved for us) and picked up when we are ready to leave. We don't have to search for places to eat - this is all planned ahead of time also. We were unsure about bus travel but the buses have always been roomy and comfortable and Al and Eileen make the trip so fun - it seems they just know when it's time to be quiet and rest, read, etc. and when it's time to energize us.
